Fresh Ideas

Communities and accreditations

At Kentucky Fresh Harvest we believe in the power of, and strive to support, communities dedicated to change. Technology can support this vision for change, but without the right people and ideas driving that vision, the Future of Farming could never come to fruition.

That’s why we’re proud to support and be a part of these fine organizations.

KY agritech
advisory
board

The AgriTech Advisory Council created by Gov. Beshear, which he will chair, will guide the administration in building America’s AgriTech capital in Kentucky. By having our COO, Dr. Shubin Saha appointed to the council, we have established our place among the agricultural leaders in Kentucky and in the agritech industry.

Produce
Marketing
Association

With a mission to provide connections, develop content, and deliver industry solutions, the Produce Marketing Association has benefitted us in numerous ways while we work together to advance the agricultural industry and grow a healthier world.

Equitable Food Initiative

Agriculture and Equine Policy Council

Incorporating our values into every part of our production from seed to harvest required an approach where we engaged our workers at every level. The EFI program helps us build transparency with each team member and support them to contribute to our collective efforts to provide the freshest, healthiest, most sustainable produce.

The importance of farming, as well as the equine industry in Kentucky necessitates the need for a leadership council dedicated to a few of the state’s signature industries. Our involvement in this newly formed policy-driven council secures a voice for the agriculture industry among state legislators and ensures adequate representation of our interests.

KY Chamber of Commerce

As the leading authority for helping businesses grow and helping Kentucky advance, the KY Chamber of Commerce has provided us with excellent guidance in the beginning stages of our company’s operation.

Appalachia
Proud

Including the Appalachia Proud logo on each package of tomatoes we sell is an indicator that we are both supported by and supportive of the region we operate in. We are proud of the rich heritage of agriculture in Lincoln County and the foundation of knowledge, passion, and tradition that makes it the perfect fit for the location of the state’s first high-tech greenhouse and the Future of Farming.
